We will be listening

by email: May 2010

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that we really enjoyed your Christian programming this afternoon. We were driving up 85 and found your station while scanning through the channels.

The good old Southern Gospel that I've listened to since I've been a Christian, caught my ear. I shall be listening to you on line on Sunday for your Sunday afternoon Christian programming.

Thank you for your Christian Programming,

Burl La Forme

Thank You for your Support

by email: December 2008

As producer of Chesley's Own Grande Ole Opry, I would like to thank the station in general and Sharon in particular for allowing me time on her country show to advertise our performance of last month. With your help we sold out (325) the week before the event and raised $2600.00 toward expanding our medical clinic.

Thank you for your support.

Enjoyable and Rewarding Volunteer Experience

by letter: February 2007

Bluewater Radio Board of Directors,

As a volunteer announcer with Bluewater Radio, I wish to extend my deepest gratitude for the tremendous opportunity you have provided and continue to provide to me and others like me. Since last March, I have been the host of a weekly blues music show on 91.3 FM, and as much as I hope listeners appreciate the program, I have found it even more enjoyable and rewarding from a personal standpoint then I could have ever imagined it would be. As someone who leads a very busy personal and business life, the opportunity to slip into the station one night a week to have some fun and at the same time provide a little volunteer service is something I absolutely cherish.

Recently I started a new job that does take me out of the country often, but so far I've been able to keep my commitment to the Bluewater Blues radio show. My only hope is that I can continue for months and indeed years to come. I must say that my business colleagues in the U.S. are very supportive of me continuing the show, and some of them even take the time to tune in via the Internet on occasion.

As well as the guidance provided by the Bluewater Radio Board of Directors, I wish to thank my fellow volunteer announcers, many of whom have provided great guidance, tremendous support and most importantly kind friendship over the past year. In particular great volunteers, like Joel Axler, Lincoln Miller, Rob Lennips, Pete Klinger and George Rahn are people I've grown to know a little and appreciate a lot for their never-ending support of good, quality programming on Bluewater Radio.

Last, but in no way least, my biggest thank you goes to Andrew McBride, who took the time to reply to my e-mail query back around Christmas of 2005, and since then has been an ardent promoter and supporter of the blues shows on Bluewater Radio. His guidance, assistance and never-ending encouragement has been the biggest single reason why a weekly visit back to Hanover has now become such a staple in my life. To me, Andy Mack represents everything that is so great about Bluewater Radio. In my opinion, he is Bluewater Radio. Again, thank you all.

Best Regards,

Mike Anderson

Only moments before I was hooked

by email: June 2006

It was only moments before I was hooked on Joel's program "Then." I had grown so weary of DJ's useless dribble that I rarely listened to the radio anymore. Then I heard Joel's program THEN. Everytime I listen to it, I feel nostalgic, recalling old memories, past friends and carefree times. It is evident that Joel does an incredible amount of research as he is very knowledgeable about the history, era, artists and songs. I enjoy learning more about what went on behind the scenes. My kids love it when he talks to us on the radio and mentions their names and plays their favourite Beatles song. I may be Joel's biggest fan and I have often told him that we are privileged to have him on our airwaves as his talent could take him far away. We love you, Joel, cheers to "Then".

Sincerely,

Angela Boersma

A Good Mix of Old and New

by letter: May 2006

We moved to Hanover from Kitchener in March. Your radio station is excellent. We have listened to songs we haven't heard for many years. A good mix of old and new. With news, weather and news connections, who needs more. We are both retired. After living in Kitchener all my life this was a big move. We are enjoying our new home and the community. It's so peaceful and quiet.

Thank you all. Keep up the Good Work!

Sincerely

High Quality, Affordable Advertising

by email: March 2006

Just a note of thanks for the great ad you folks put together for my store, Jane's Frenchies, several weeks ago. The whole experience was a good one for me. Carole Plunkett was a pleasure to deal with; the ad was well written, produced and performed, and the price was affordable. It also brought good feedback from customers. All-in-all, it was a good experience and I'll definitely call you when I am ready to advertise again.

Remembrance Day Programme

by email: November 2005

Hello Andy,

I have procrastinated long enough, just had to tell you how very much I enjoyed this evening's ''The Sounds of Scotland'' Remembrance Day programme, a rather nostalgic day for me.

Originally from the Forres area in Scotland, I have been listening to the show since it went on air. What a find!! Your programme is simply awesome.

You stated tonight how proud you were of your station, and justly so.

Your selections could not be ''ordered up'' any more perfect, you have a great knack of making one very homesick!! Just love all the little bits of info you so tactfully fit into the show. I wish you continued success. Thank you so much for such a great weekly two hours.

Sincerely,

Evelyn Lahure
