Betty Rose Boyd (nee Blythe), formerly of Hanover, passed away at Brucelea Haven Long Term Care Walkerton ON. with family by her side, on Monday, February 27, 2023. She was 96 years old.Â
Survived by 2 sons, Gary Hunter (Judy Mackenzie) of Allan Park, and David (Betty) Hunter of Guelph. Cherished grandmother of Billy Huunter of Durham, Benny Hunter of Glenco, Bobby Hunter (Kayla) of Arthur, Teresa Hunter of Guelph, and Tommy Hunter (Karin) of Chatsworth, and great grandmother of Jacob Hunter of London, Ethan Hunter of London, Skylie Hunter of Guelph, and Payton Hunter of Hanover, and great great grandmother of Braxton Hunter of London. Fondly remembered by sister Susan Barlow of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her parents, John & Dorothy Miller(nee Metzger), first husband Archie Hunter, second husband Thomas Boyd, and brother in infancy Lynn Miller.Â
Betty was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Hanover, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023Â at 11 am. Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating. Inurnment in Colbourne Municipal Cemetery, Goderich, at a later date.Â
