It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Cheryl Rahn after a brave battle with cancer.
She is survived by her sister Mary, niece and nephew Lindsay and Josh and great niece Kenzie. Â
Cheryl had a career in education, teaching in Whitby, Burlington and Kitchener. She loved the arts and excelled in pottery making, quilting and watercolour painting. Cheryl loved spending time with her many close friends which often involved trips to her cottage at Sauble. Â
A Come and Go Celebration of Cheryl’s life will take place at Grace United Church in Hanover at the CE Hall on Saturday, August 24 from 12:30 until 1:30 where there will be a short service with words of Remembrance at 1:30pm.
Inurnment to follow at the Hanover Cemetery. All are welcome.Â
