Julia Sybilla Deeves (Wettlaufer) of Durham was born July 4, 1930. On September 2, 2024 she passed peacefully at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley in her 95th year with family by her side.
Julie was the dear daughter of predeceased parents Ezra and Leona (Kraft) Wettlaufer of Ayton.
Julie was the dearest, loving Wee Momma of Sandra Wilson Milks (Farrell) of Durham, Gary (Deb) of Hanover, Merv, of Coldwater Michigan and Tami Ross (Dale) of Harriston.
Julie was the treasured Wee Nan of Sheri Stone (Robert), Lori Ellis (Tony Wilson), Jessica (Ash), Haley, Megan, Jylisa Deeves (Jeremy Deeves), Cortney (Mike), Amberly, Kevin Ross (Lauren), Amanda Roantree (Andrew), Nicole Ross and Greg Ross.
Julie was the cherished Wee Nana of Dalton Stone (Jessica), Lucas Stone, Anthony Wilson, Kaelea Gorlick, Bentley Deeves, Avaiah Deeves, Leighton Lavigne, Delaney Lavigne, Raelyn Ross, Del Ross, Wes Roantree and Jack Roantree.
Julie was survived by her brother Eldon (Carol) of St. Thomas and sisters Shirley Meagher, Marie Noble and Marlene Clough, all of Hanover and her sister-in-law Esther Wettlaufer of Walkerton.
Julie was predeceased by the father of her children Douglas Deeves, her long-time friend and partner Don Campbell, her son-in-law Steve Wilson and grandsons Anthony (Tony) Wilson and Jeremy Deeves, her brothers Leonard, Elmer, Ivan, Lloyd and Willard and her sisters Dorothy Hahn, Elmeda Hartmann, Mildred Albrecht and Margaret Wettlaufer, her brothers-in-law Frank Hahn, Gordon Hartmann, Edgar Albrecht, Al Meagher, Russ Noble, and Harold Clough and sisters-in-law Mildred, Florence, Betty and Erna.
The funeral will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church at 552 Louisa Street, Ayton, Ontario on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 1:00 pm with visitation at the  church from 11:00 am to 1 pm. There will be a light lunch to follow. Internment will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Ayton.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Greg Roberts Funeral Home, Mildmay, Ontario.
