Marianne Kathryn Gilkinson, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Huronview Home for the Aged in Clinton on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. She was 85.Â
Born in Hanover Ontario on May 18, 1940 to the late Charles and Madeleine (nee Parker) Kobe. Mom was a strong courageous lady who enjoyed raising her family and taking care of others, she was employed with the Hanover hospital in the Dietary Department. Â And in her past times enjoying diamond, painting, and crocheting.
Survived by daughter Luanne Gilkinson (Brandon) Â and Michael (Nancy) Gilkinson and Richard Gilkinson. Â Adored by MacKenzie Krueger and Matthew Gilkinson as well as her other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Â
She will be remembered by her brother-in-law Bill Roseborough dear friend Marlene Baker and her nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her beloved James "Jim" Gilkinson and sisters Karen Roseborough and Joyce Kobe Magwood.Â
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:00 am.Â
