Emma Maas, life long resident of Hanover, passed away peacefully at McVean Lodge, Hanover on Thursday, August 17, 2017.  She was in her 105th year.                            

Survived by loving nephew Don (Iris) Maas of Hanover, nieces Helen Bryce-Hoy of Kitchener, Elaine (Bill) Chalmers of Neustadt, Jean Wittich of Indianna, USA. and a niece in law Hazel Maas of Hanover.  She will be missed by her many great, great great and great great great nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Predeceased by her siblings Rose Weppler, Enoch Maas, August Maas, John Maas, Clara Maes, Frieda Nickason, niece Marlene Steele and nephew Lawrence Maas and nephew in law Doug Wittich. 

Visitation at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.   

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:00 am, at St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church (356-9th Street, Hanover). Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover.
